The Huntridge Theater opened in the 1940s as a cinema and was used as a movie theater and concert venue until it closed in 2004.

It has been on the National Register of Historic Places since the ‘90s.

There have been several attempts to revitalize the theater, including a crowdfunding effort in 2013, but so far none have worked.
