Matty Roberts, the creator of the “Storm Area 51” Facebook page that inspired planned events in the Lincoln County area, has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Little A’Le’Inn owner Connie West in Rachel.
Roberts wants West to cancel Alienstock, a festival planned for next week.
The two were partnered on the event until Roberts backed out earlier this week citing concerns about “lack of infrastructure, poor planning” and “risk management.”

Roberts is instead planning to co-host an Area 51-themed party at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. West said when Roberts pulled out of Alienstock she was prepared to put it on without him.
The festival’s website still has a lineup of more than 20 performances listed.
