The University of Nevada, Reno will host two town hall meetings in Las Vegas on Wednesday to discuss concerns over the dorm-room explosions earlier this month.
The explosions occurred on July 5 and severely damaged Nye and Argenta residential halls. Eight people were injured in the incident and there were no fatalities.
School administrators say they will be available to answer questions about the university’s efforts to secure 1,300 beds for students who were slated to live in those dorms for the coming year.

One proposal will move the students to a non-gaming tower at Circus Circus. The university also intends to open a temporary dining area.
