Sisolak Orders Flags Flown At Half Staff In Honor Of Justice Stevens

On Tuesday, by executive order, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak ordered flags to be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol and state public buildings and grounds until sunset.

A statement from the governor’s office says the gesture is “a mark of respect and in remembrance of retired Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, John Paul Stevens.”

Stevens died last week at age 99 and is being laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery Tuesday.
