The Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority intends to revoke one of its commissioners’ housing assistance and remove her from the board.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports after a 10-month investigation into fraud claims against her, Theresa Davis will lose her assistance and her position as a “resident commissioner” on the agency’s board at the end of this month.
She represented North Las Vegas on the board alongside three others receiving housing assistance.

Investigators say Davis falsely claimed she and her family didn’t have access to a bank account, but in fact, she had 29 accounts in her name as well as family members’ names and a nonprofit organization.
