Climate Change Report Has Dire Warning About Dangerous Heat In Southern Nevada

A new blistering analysis of the effects of climate change in the United States show summer temperatures will get hotter for longer periods of time and for residents in Southern Nevada - include dangerous temperatures.

The Union of Concerned Scientists released a report and peer-reviewed study Thursday detailing the potential effects of climate change in the form of extreme heat.

The report’s findings predict that with no action on climate change, Clark County residents will experience 100-degree temperatures for over 68 days of the year by the late 21 st Century.
