Reno Liable For Lemmon Valley Flooding

A jury found the City of Reno liable for damage to private property after it pumped excess stormwater into Swan Lake, causing massive flooding in 2017.

Jurors found the city was liable for using private property without adequately compensating the owners and causing damage to personal property.

At attorney for the plaintiffs called the verdict a win for the community in Lemmon Valley.
