Nevada Airports Get Millions In FAA Grants

Ten airports in Nevada will divvy up grants of more than $21 million from the Federal Aviation Administration to pay for construction and capacity improvements.

The biggest share goes to Reno-Tahoe International Airport, which will get more than $14 million for runway and taxiway reconstruction, and runway lighting upgrades.

Grants of over a $1 million each will go to several other airports including Minden-Tahoe and the Winnemucca Municipal Airport.
