The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said its traffic bureau captain has been relieved of duty.
Capt. Nick Farese was in charge of the traffic bureau under Metro’s tourist safety division and was relieved of duty with pay on Friday.
It was not clear why he was relieved. Police spokesman Larry Hadfield said it is a personnel matter and no additional details will be provided.
