Excessive Heat Warning Issued For Southern Nevada

The National Weather Service says this week will be the Las Vegas valley’s “hottest week so far this year.”

Typically, high temperatures this time of year average 97 degrees.  Highs this week are expected to reach 100 or above. 

An excessive heat warning takes effect at 10 a.m. Tuesday and expires at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
