Talks over a potential sale of Wynn Resorts’ $2.6 billion Encore Boston Harbor Resort to MGM Resorts International ended late yesterday when the two companies said in statements they decided to go their separate ways.
The resort in Everett, Massachusetts is scheduled to open in late June.
It was revealed last week the two companies were engaged in conversations around the potential sale of the 671-room hotel-casino, but both now say they’ve ended those discussions.
