KVVU television is reporting that MGM Resorts International has confirmed another round of several hundred layoffs.
In a letter sent to employees Thursday morning, the company announced that another 557 positions had been eliminated.
MGM told Fox5 that the eliminated positions were primarily management positions. This second round of layoffs comes after MGM announced the elimination of about 200 management positions in April.

The letter was signed by MGM Resorts International CEO Jim Murren, and it says this will be the final round of cuts.
