Bill To Create Cannabis Compliance Board Introduced

A bill introduced in the Nevada Assembly aims to create a Cannabis Compliance Board to oversee the marijuana industry.

Assembly Bill 533 would fulfill one of the goals Governor Steve Sisolak laid out at the start of the legislative session. It would set guidelines for issuing licenses for cannabis consumption lounges and everything else to do with marijuana production and sales.

The governor would have the power to appoint five members to the board, who would serve four-year terms.
