LAS VEGAS (AP) — Three men identified as MS-13 gang members have been indicted in Nevada in the killing of a man whose slashed and bullet-riddled body was found last year in the desert outside Las Vegas.
A U.S. District Court grand jury on Tuesday indicted Jose Luis Reynaldo Reyes-Castillo, Miguel Torres-Escobar and David Arturo Perez-Manchame in the death of 21-year-old Arquimidez Sandoval-Martinez.
Prosecutors say 25-year-old Reyes-Castillo is known as Molesto, 21-year-old Torres-Escobar uses the name Chamilo, and 20-year-old Perez-Manchame goes by Walter Melendez and Herbi.
They were arrested in March 2018 along with a 23-year-old who was not indicted and a 17-year-old who had been charged as a juvenile.
They were accused of abducting Sandoval-Martinez from a downtown Las Vegas club, binding him with shoelaces and driving him to the desert where he was hacked with a machete and shot.
