Caroline, Martins Named All-League; Johnson 6th Man Award

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Nevada forwards Jordan Caroline and Caleb Martin are first-team selections on the all-Mountain West Conference squad and Jazz Johnson was named the league's Sixth Man of the Year coming off the bench for the No. 14 Wolf Pack.

Cody Martin was a second-team selection Monday and Johnson received honorable mention as voted by the media.

Utah State's Neemias Queta edged out Cody Martin and Nevada's Tre-Shawn Thurman for Defensive Player of the Year.

Caroline set a league record with 44 career double-doubles and finished the season with 18, averaging 17.7 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.

Caleb Martin led Nevada (28-3, 15-3 MWC) in scoring with 19.6 points per game. Cody Martin tied as the MWC assist-leader with 5.1 per game.

Johnson averaged 11 points per game. He ranked second in the league making 44.1 percent of his 3-pointers.
