Bitter cold weather moved into the Sierra Nevada Wednesday, following a storm that dropped three feet of snow on the mountains around Lake Tahoe.
Overnight lows dipped to -4 degrees at South Lake Tahoe.
For several days now, storms have pelted the mountaintops along the Nevada-California line, leaving six to 10 feet of snow.

The impact of wintery weather has also been felt further south as Interstate 15 at Primm was closed for several hours Wednesday morning due to icy road conditions
