Steve Wynn May Still Faces Fines From Gaming Control Board

Former Wynn Resorts Chairman and founder Steve Wynn may yet still be personally fined by Nevada gaming regulators for allegations of sexual misconduct.

A settlement was reached Monday between the Nevada Gaming Commission and Wynn resorts, where the company admitted to most of the allegations in the complaint and will pay an undisclosed fine.

But gaming commission chairman Tony Alamo said in an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal the complaint against the company was a first step in the process.

Alamo said, “there’s another component here which involves the gentleman in question.”

Steve Wynn’s name is still on several licenses under the purview of the gaming commission.
