Former Owner Of Riviera Has Died

Meshulam Riklis, the billionaire businessman who owned the Riviera hotel-casino for decades,  died at a hospital Friday in Tel Aviv. He was 95.

Riklis, who bought the casino in 1973, would eventually lose his ownership in the Riviera after a second bankruptcy filing in the early ’90s.

Riklis was at one time married to entertainer Pia Zadora who still performs in Las Vegas.
