In response to Oakland’s lawsuit against the team and the NFL, the Raiders made good on its promise to withdraw its offer to play next season at the Coliseum in Oakland.
Raiders CEO Marc Badain told reporters at the NFL owners meetings in Dallas he did not have an answer on where the team would play in 2019.
The Raiders need a temporary home in 2019 before their big move to the new 65,000-seat stadium in Las Vegas for the 2020 season.
Earlier this week, the city of Oakland filed a lawsuit against the team and the NFL, seeking to recover damages resulting from lost revenue and investments in the Coliseum.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell told reporters the league would need to know by early January or February where the Raiders would play next year.
