Driver Arrested After NHP Clocks Him Going Nearly 150 MPH

A driver was arrested on Interstate 15 Tuesday night after a Nevada Highway Patrol officer clocked the vehicle travelling almost 150 miles per hour.

The trooper was patrolling a “no tolerance zone” about 30 miles south of Las Vegas near Jean with the northbound car went by, with the radar capturing a speed of 147 miles per hour.

The highway patrol said that those kinds of speeds don’t get citations and the driver was arrested.
