More Signage Planned Along Interstate 11

More signage will be added to Interstate 11 by the end of the year to remind motorists how to get into Boulder City.

City officials discussed the need for new signage at a recent town hall meeting. The new 15-mile stretch of highway – also known as the Boulder City Bypass, opened in August and the Nevada Department of Transportation has heard complaints that some of the signage is confusing and that there should be more signs directing people into the city.

The Boulder City communications manager says enhanced signs are in the works and should be in place by the end of December.
