Lucky Dragon Closing Its Hotel Doors

After a tumultuous run that lasted just more than two years, the Lucky Dragon will close its hotel doors Tuesday.

This comes just months after its casino and restaurants closed and a bankruptcy was filed.

The Chinese-themed resort was the first hotel-casino built from the ground up in Las Vegas since the recession.

The hotel featured Asian restaurants and a 27,000-square-foot-casino catering to high-roller Chinese gamblers.

The 2.5-acre property is scheduled to come up for sale at a foreclosure auction Oct. 30.
