David Copperfield Sues German Company Because Of Flying Object

Las Vegas performer David Copperfield is suing a German company for creating a replica of a flying object used in his "Live the Impossible" performance at MGM Grand.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports District Judge Mark Denton issued a temporary restraining order, prohibiting the company from delivering the object to a fellow Las Vegas illusionist, who remained unnamed in the lawsuit.

The lawsuit said Copperfield’s success has depended upon the confidentiality and protection of creations, inventions and technology his company has acquired.

According to the complaint, Airstage by Effekt-Technik GMGH broke a promise entered in 2014 to not build another similar flying object when it signed an agreement with another Las Vegas Magician.
