The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority board voted Tuesday to set the maximum price tag for the Las Vegas Convention Center expansion at $935 million.
The project originally was budgeted for $860 million. The increase reflects a $10.5 million acquisition of a neighboring property, construction additions and changes in the construction market, officials said.
The expansion will include 600,000 square feet of exhibition space and a 25,000-square-foot outdoor events terrace.
