The sixth “Life is Beautiful” festival begins Friday downtown.
More than 50,000 people are expected to attend each day through Sunday.
The festival takes place across 18 city blocks and general admission tickets sold out for a second straight year.
Las Vegas Metro Police answered some questions on Facebook about their plans during the festival, saying they have increased security measures, with plans to use helicopters and drones in addition to adding some 30 officers.
The festival concludes around midnight Sunday.
