The Henderson City Council last night approved plans to construct a new sign to welcome visitors to the downtown Water Street District, as part of an effort to revitalize the area.
The new LED installation will complement an existing canopy that crosses Water Street, connecting City Hall to the courthouse.
Construction is expected to get underway in about two months.
