A grand opening ceremony will be held this week for the University of Nevada Reno’s STEM-themed residence hall.
In a statement, the university said The Great Basin hall will be home to students who are specifically interested in the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Costs for the new building were $65 million, which was funded through residence hall fees.
