Legendary chef Joel Robuchon has died. He was 73.
A spokeswoman confirmed his death Monday morning.
Media in France are reporting he died in Geneva from cancer.
He was chosen as the “cook of the century” by French critics in 1990.
For many years, he held more Michelin stars than any other chef, including three stars for his restaurant at the MGM Grand, one of five Robuchon restaurants worldwide to receive Michelin’s top rating.
