Las Vegas Aces player A'ja Wilson was named the Associated Press WNBA Rookie of the Year this week.
The award was given unanimously by a panel selected by the AP.
In her debut season, Wilson scored the second-most points of any rookie in WNBA history.

The league's number one draft pick averaged almost 21 points a game.
ESPN also named the Las Vegas center its WNBA rookie of the year.
Despite the accolades, the Aces finished their first season of play outside the playoffs, posting a 14-20 record.
