Nevada gaming regulators decided to reject a proposed settlement reached with a sportsbook operator alleged of misconduct.
Members of the Nevada Gaming Commission today unanimously turned down a $250,000 settlement with CG Technology to end the case.
Earlier this month, the Nevada Gaming Control Board filed a complaint against CG, which runs sportsbooks at the Venetian, Palazzo, the Palms and other properties both off and on the Las Vegas Strip.
Regulators say CG took out of state bets on mobile apps, made incorrect payments to bettors, and allowed for incorrect bets to be placed during the most recent Super Bowl.
The company has run afoul of regulators before – they faced a $5.5 million fine in 2014 after an executive was operating an illegal sports betting scheme.
CG now has 30 days to hammer out a new settlement with the Gaming Control Board and could face license revocation.
