Nevada gaming regulators will meet Thursday to decide whether to fine a sportsbook operator $250,000 and enter into a subsequent settlement agreement.
The Nevada Gaming Control Board filed a complaint earlier this month against CG Technology, which runs sportsbooks at the Venetian, Palazzo, the Palms and other properties both off and on the Las Vegas Strip.
Regulators say CG took out of state bets on mobile apps, made incorrect payments to bettors, and allowed for incorrect bets to be placed during the most recent Super Bowl.
The Nevada Gaming Commission will decide whether to accept the settlement the Board proposed with CG.
The company has run afoul of regulators before – they faced a $5.5 million fine in 2014 after an executive was operating an illegal sports betting scheme.
