A visit from President Donald Trump last month helped raise nearly a half million dollars to boost Republican Senator Dean Heller’s campaign.
The Nevada Independent reportsthat the fundraiser charged rates of $15,000 for a couple’s photo with the president and $50,000 for a private roundtable with Trump.
Las Vegas Sands CEO and prominent GOP megadonor Sheldon Adelson was one of the top donors for the fundraiser, along with fellow casino executive Derek Stevens, the CEO of the D.

Heller is largely considered one of the most vulnerable Republicans up for re-election in November, and will face off against Democratic Representative Jacky Rosen.
