LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police body-worn cameras show officers searching for shooters inside and outside a Las Vegas Strip hotel where a gunman firing from upper-floor windows killed 58 people and injured hundreds in a concert crowd below.
Eight more video recordings from the deadliest mass shooting in the nation's modern history were released Wednesday by Las Vegas police under a court order in a public records lawsuit by media including The Associated Press.
Like previous records, they show tense minutes following the Oct. 1 shooting.
They do not shed new light on a motive.
Police and the FBI have said gunman Stephen Paddock acted alone to amass an arsenal of assault-style weapons that he fired from the Mandalay Bay resort suite into the Route 91 Harvest Festival concert crowd before then killing himself.
