Inmate Walks Away From A Conservation Camp In Winemmucca

WINNEMUCCA, Nev. (AP) — Officials with the Nevada Department of Corrections say an inmate has walked away from the Humboldt Conservation Camp in Winemmucca.

They say 30-year-old Ezekial Earl Derr left the camp around 6 p.m. Saturday.

Corrections officials say Derr has been serving a 12-to-72-month sentence for larceny, burglary, home invasion and possession of a credit card without owner's consent out of Clark County.

They say the camps are for minimum-security inmates who are scheduled to be released within two years.
