The North Las Vegas City Council and the Regional Transportation Commission have reached a $3.5 million deal to fund street repairs on hundreds of miles of roads in North Las Vegas.
The money would come from the countywide fuel revenue indexing tax, and would cover construction costs for the road improvements.
Also, during Wednesday night's council meeting, the council approved an $11-million contract to build a storm drain in North Las Vegas, as part of a flood control project.
