Metro Releases Surveillance Footage And 911 Calls From Oct. 1 Shooting

This week Las Vegas Metro Police released surveillance footage and 911 audio calls of the October 1 shooting.

The camera on top of Mandalay Bay was trained on the festival grounds at 10 p.m., providing a vantage point similar to that of what the gunman may have seen from his 32 nd floor window.

There were 518 audio calls made to emergency dispatchers that night, and graphic sounds of people screaming and pleading for help can be heard.

The material represents the fifth batch of records made public without comment by the Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo or his department.

Authorities still maintain shooter Stephen Paddock acted alone, and that they still do not have a motive.
