House Passes Legislation To Address Opioid Abuse At Work

The U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed legislation, co-sponsored by Nevada Congresswoman Jacky Rosen, that would establish an Advisory Committee on Opioids and the Workplace.

The committee is designed to advise the Secretary of Labor on actions the Department of Labor can take to address opioid abuse in the workplace.

The committee will consider existing employer substance abuse policies and the effect opioid abuse can have in the workplace.
