The city of Las Vegas is moving forward on its next phases of a courtyard homeless resource center.

Demolition work on several buildings will begin Thursday morning, kicked off at 9:30 a.m. by Mayor Carolyn Goodman and Councilman Bob Coffin.

The Courtyard is planned to be a starting point for homeless individuals to access all resources in one place within the Corridor of Hope.

The initial phase of the Courtyard opened last year and now the city is moving forward to expand the property.
