CCSD Will Hire Investigator To Look Into Allegations Of Discrimination

A scathing letter sent to the Clark County School District board of directors by a former executive has raised some eyebrows.

The district said they will hire an external investigator to look into allegations that the Employee Management Relations department engages in rampant favoritism and discrimination.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the letter and additional documents were sent to school trustees by Donald Harris, a director in the department who retired last week.

The letter levels serious allegations against Associate Superintendent Edward Goldman, including alleging he gathered sensitive information about colleagues in order to gain more power and control in the district.

Goldman denied the allegations.
