The Clark County Public Art Committee voted this week to recommend the County allocate $258,000 to begin planning a memorial to the victims of the October 1 shooting.
The recommendation now goes to the Clark County Commission for possible approval in May.
Art committee chairman Eric Strain said a memorial project will probably take between $10 and $20 million to complete.
