The Elko City Council suspended the business license of a nearby brothel this week.
The license at Mona’s Ranch will be suspended for 180 days after a hearing was called regarding a bartender’s arrest on drug charges – which included methamphetamine allegedly found in his room at the brothel.
The Elko Daily Free Press reports the motion states Mona’s Ranch should come back to the council at the end of the 180 days with a plan to prevent drugs on the premises.
