David Humm, perhaps the best-known quarterback in Las Vegas prep history, died late Tuesday in Las Vegas from complications of multiple sclerosis.
The former NFL quarterback was a star player at Bishop Gorman High School.
He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in 1975 and played in the NFL for 10 seasons.

He was the first inductee into the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame, and Raiders owner Al Davis flew in for the 1997 ceremony. David Humm was 65.
