Ice Age Fossils Returned to Nevada

Thousands of fossils from Nevada that date back to the ice age made their return to Las Vegas this week after spending the last decade in Southern California.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reportscrews from UNLV and the Las Vegas Natural History Museum returned Saturday with more than 20,000 specimens that were originally found near Tule Springs.

The fossils include mammoth tusks, a bison skull and bones from extinct horses, camels and saber-toothed cats.
