Former Employee At City Of Reno Accuses City Of Cover-up In Harassment Case

A former employee of the City of Reno says after complaining of sexual harassment, she was pushed out of her job and her accused harasser was allowed to resign with no disciplinary action.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports court documents show the woman thinks the city was attempting to cover up inappropriate behavior by revitalization manager Bill Dunne.

Dunne denied the allegations in a written statement to the newspaper.

The woman's accusations are in paperwork filed in a separate harassment case involving a former city manager.

A spokesperson for the city said an independent investigator has been hired to look into the woman's allegations.
