The Environmental Protection Agency expects to close its lab on the University of Nevada Las Vegas campus by the end of this September.
The Nevada Independent reports the move is part of a consolidation effort.

While plans were already underway to close the Las Vegas office, the previous end date was September 2020.
The closure will affect more than fifty employees, some of whom might be relocated to other labs.
