BLM Increases Fees At Red Rock Canyon

Visits to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a little more expensive, starting today.

The Bureau of Land Management has increased fees to the area including the scenic loop road and campgrounds to $15 per car, an increase of $8.

Coming into the area on foot now costs $5, up from $3.

Prices for individual and group campsites have also increased.

The BLM says this is the first fee increase since 2011, and that fees are used to improve services in the area.
