Art Museum Working To Keep "Seven Magic Mountains" In Place

The "Seven Magic Mountains" road side art installation is scheduled to come down in May.

The popular rock-art installation west of Las Vegas was meant to be a two-year temporary exhibit. It was created by Italian artist Ugo Rondinone but not everyone is ready to see it go.

The Nevada Museum of Art is working to secure the exhibit through the rest of the year or longer if possible.

An estimated 2 million people have visited the fluorescent boulders since the museum installed them in 2016.
