Massachusetts Panel To Review Wynn Allegations

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is launching a review following allegations of sexual harassment and assault by Wynn Resorts founder Steve Wynn detailed in a Wall Street Journal report.

A spokeswoman says the commission's investigations and enforcement bureau will conduct a regulatory review to determine the appropriate next steps. Wynn is building a roughly $2.5 billion resort in the Boston suburb of Everett.

Wynn has denied the allegations and has said he has no plans to resign as finance chair of the Republican National Committee.

Wynn is also a major donor to the Republican Party. The GOP has not said whether it will return Wynn’s money, as it called on the Democratic Party to do with Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein after he was accused of multiple instances of misconduct.
