Las Vegas Shooter's Remains Turned Over To His Brother

The Clark County Coroner’s Office released the cremated remains of Las Vegas strip shooter Stephen Paddock to his brother Eric Paddock on Thursday.

Eric Paddock flew to Las Vegas to meet with Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg.

Eric Paddock was to return home Thursday and told the Las Vegas Review-JournalJournal he was “going back to his life.

The label on the box of remains said that Stephen Paddock was cremated on December 21.

Fudenberg said in a statement that they are not releasing any more information about the case at this time.

In October, Fudenberg sent parts of Stephen Paddock’s brain tissue to Stanford University School of Medicine for a neuropathological examination.

In December, the coroner had ruled the 64-year-old shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
