Court Papers Say Las Vegas Shooter Made Efforts To "Thwart" Investigation

Hundreds of pages of court documents released last night show the gunman responsible for the October First mass shooting made calculated moves to hinder ensuing law enforcement efforts.

The papers say in addition to hoarding weapons and ammunition, Stephen Paddock sought “to thwart the eventual law enforcement investigation” following the attack.

One warrant says Paddock “destroyed or tried to hide digital media devices.” He also used 3 different cell phones, signaling what authorities called a “level of sophistication which is commonly found in mass casualty events.”

A motive for the shooting has still not been determined.
